The original "Got Milk?" (1993) ad is considered one of best commercials of all time. Why?
The marketing agency (Goodby Silverstein & Partners ) were brilliant in its inception.
Their Goal: To make people care about something as basic as milk. How do you do that?
They asked and asked, and then someone said, "The only time we notice milk is when we don't have any."
And a lightbulb went off which prompted them to make:
An ad about what it's like to NOT have milk.
What we can learn from this; What if you made a marketing pitch talking about a world where your product is missing. What would it be like?
Let me know in the comments.
PS.
Fun fact, this was directed by Michael Bay (The Transformers Director)
